The social studies test will cover Chapter 4: European Settlements, beginning with the founding of Roanoke (lesson 2). Students should study their notes and vocabulary. Test questions will focus on the reasons for settling in each colony, differences between the colonies, hardships faced by settlers, and historical figures and their contributions. I recommend students take the practice quizzes found on the Chapter 4 page.
The math test will cover Unit 3: Geometry Explorations. Topics will include measuring and identifying angles, identifying polygons and their properties, finding missing angles of polygons, classifying triangles, and geometry terminology. The unit study guide and answers, as well as video tutorial and skills quizzes, can be found on the Unit 3 page.
